Spanbroekmolen (or Pool of Peace) mine crater - This is the site of the largest of 19 mines blown by the British Army in the early hours of the morning (03:10am) of 7th June 1917. This signalled the launch of the Battle of Messines.
The entrance to Messines Ridge British cemetery, with the Cross of Sacrifice. A memorial to New Zealand soldiers is on the walls under the cross.
